Britney's Back!

Britney Spears' guest appearance on 'How I Met Your Mother' on Monday night helped the comedy achieve its higher viewership of the season, and means the show will be renewed for a fourth series.The Hollywood Reporter says that the Spears-starring episode attracted around 10.6m viewers on Monday night; the show usually averages 7.8m. Great job Britney!

How I Met Your Mother

Well we told you she would be back...didn't we? The Rumors are true brit is back and will be guest starring on How I Met Your Mother tonight at 8:30 on CBS! Brit has some past acting experience such as a guest star spot on Will & Grace and starring in her own movie Crossroads. Britney commented that doing this spot "was a blast" and the cast and crew were very nice. Parts of the cast said that she knew her lines better then they did! You go girl! Her parents, now taking control of her life, were very thankful that the show went smoothly and that there daughter is happy.
Britney will be auctioning off six items of clothing that she wore on the set to donate for the "Natural Resource Defense Council." Good idea Brit!

Mel Gibson?

Britney spotted eating dinner with Mel Gibson. It looks like our girl is getting some personal advice from a man who has been through some troubled times himself. Turns out that the two have been meeting regularly. TMZ sources say that Mel is trying to give Britney some support at a time when she certainly needs it. He knows that living the life of a celeb can be tough. There are definatly some hard times and he is lending his had to help her through. Break The Ice

Pop star Britney Spears released a music video yesterday that features the singer as an animated superhero in a futuristic world.This video is for"Break The Ice" – the third from her 2007 album Blackout. The release of the video marks a sort of comeback for Spears whose career has been sidelined by psychiatric problems. Britney's record company said the video was made in South Korea in Japanese anime style.

I was in Madrid, Spain this past week and I saw many of the Spanish gossip magazines showing a mini bump on Britney's tummy. Is she pregnant again? I doubt it.

According to E News there is a new police investigation that Britney may have been drugged creating that english accent she had. Lynn Spears has taken control of that situation but there hasn't been a direct charge, yet manager Sam has admitted to giving Brit a "Miracle drug" the night she was taken from her house into the hospital on a stretcher.

In a positive light there are some serious rumors that Britney will start yet another comeback. It was said that she has been rehearsing in the studio this past week. Only time will tell!

Good news for Britney!!

Finally some good news! Britney Spears was reunited with her sons on Feb 23 for the first time since she had her visitation rights revoked following a breakdown at her Beverly Hills home at the beginning of January. Britney Spears World Tour

Just weeks after she was hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation- Britney is beginning to reherse for an upcoming world tour! The singer is obviosuly trying quickly turn her life around, starting with a series of gigs around the globe to promote her latest album Blackout-and get a second chance at her "come back" that she bombed a few months back. An insider tells the New York Post, "Britney will be leaving the country in the next few weeks, after training in privacy for a month. This is said to be a world tour. For those of you who haven't heard any songs from her latest cd, you should listen to short samples from each song here: crixenauf . She's Out

Britney is now out of the hospital and trying to get control of her life. Unfortunately for Brit her father is now in control of her estate and major decisions that affect her life. A Los Angeles judge has extended temporary control of Britney Spears' legal and financial affairs to her father after a brief court session on Thursday. Her parents have no trust in her old manager Sam and have actually ordered a restraining order on him. But are her parents the ones who should have control of her? She does not seem to think so…but on the other hand Brits decisions have not been the greatest lately.

Oops she did it again!

Four weeks after her last hospital "visit", Britney Spears is back in the hospital for a 3 day mental evaulation hold. Spears was taken to UCLA Medical Center late last night, not due to any of her own erratic behavior but due to the intervention of her psychologist and manager who were concerned for her safety.

Take a look at the differences in Britney's Video Music Awards performances in 2001 and then in her long awaited "comeback" in 2007. What a difference a few years can make!

Getting Real Help?

I am sure everyone has seen OK Magazine about Britney wanting to get convert to her new boyfriend’s religion, get married, and have another kid. I hope this is not the case….we will have to keep our eyes on that girl.

As for some good news…ABC News wrote an article that Barbra Walters made a comment the other day on the view that Britney is suffering from a mental illness that is treatable. She acquired this information from long time friend and manager, Sam Lutfi. She tells the audience that Britney has seen a psychiatrist and is receiving some kind of treatment. It was said that she has been having mood swings and cannot seem to sleep. My heart really goes out to this girl. She needs help! It looks like Lynn Spears is reaching out to her daughter and is really trying to support her. Well let’s hope so because this girl needs some serious support!

Britneys Downward Spiral

It has been a relatively quiet week for Britney considering her hectic week last week which included: being a no show at her custody hearing, being hospitialized while holding her children hostage at her home and being seen in public while wearing her wedding dress. I guess even Britney thought things were going too far and needed a rest. Paparazzi caught Brit wearing her old wedding dress out with her new boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.

We have created this blog to discuss our favorite pop artist, Britney Spears. Britney was our Idol when she first entered the entertainment world and we are sorry to see what has become of her since then. Breaking out with songs like "Baby One More Time" made the world fall in love with her and now she seems to be the girl the world loves...to hate. Is this what happens when you become the worlds biggest star at 17? She hit the top so quickly there was no where to go but down. After a marriage, two sons, and a divorce Britney is being hunted like a dog by the paparazzi so the world can see just how bad someone can screw up their life.
